We are planning our workshops now for 2006. We will be definitely conducting one external workshop at Lancefield in Victoria in January 2006, and our Easter workshop this yera is near Kingaroy in Queensland.

We will also conduct six additional workshops during 2006 and these will be announced in the near future.

Australia Day Workshop #83. January. 26-30 2006

Book Now, this is a popular workshop. We will be building a large load bearing JUMBO straw bale home using the latest load bearing methods as developed by Huff 'n' Puff here in Ganmain. This is a 3, 4 or 5 day intensive straw bale building workshop.

We will also be concentrating on the use of earthen renders and you will get to use the three main render mixes that we are advocating for straw bale building including lime, lime and earth and earth.

KINGAROY, QUEENSLAND

Easter Weekend Workshop #84. April 14-18 2006

Join us in Wondai near Kingaroy to build a small sustainable straw bale cottage for our client in this beautiful part of Australia.

Dogs are very welcome and camping is also welcome. We will be exploring some of the alternative ways of building footings and creating unusual floors. This will be a load bearing cottage using standard wheat straw bales.
