We are now setting workshops for 2006. We have already conducted one external workshop at Lancefield in Victoria in January 2006 which will be followed by our Easter workshop this year back in Queensland. The second workshop at Yatala has also been confirmed over the Anzac Day week see below #85.

We will also conduct six additional workshops during 2006 and these will be announced in the near future.

The building will be a large garden shed using the hybrid method combining load bearing and in-fill methods.

We have had to move the Taralga workshop to Ganmain owing to unforseen circumstances. Taralga will happen at a future date.

So come and join us in Ganmain where you will view several straw bale buildings all nearly finished or completed now. You will witness most of the building methods that we promote on our web site.

Accommodation at the "Royal Hotel" is very reasonable and affordable. We always have great workshops in Golden Ganmain.

Ganmain is 60 kilometres West of Wagga Wagga near Coolamon in the heart of canola and Chaff country. Famous for the Hay Stacks.

Straw Bale Workshop # 87 Victoria.

We are happy to confirm the above dates for this workshop which will be to build a hybrid straw bale cottage for our clients Gabrielle and Clive.

The two lower photographs on the right hand side of this page show you what you will be learning during this workshop. As usual there will be plenty of hands on work as well as five sessions of theory.e will also have a comprehensive power point slide show on the Saturday night covering many aspects of straw bale building from around the world.

Jumbo Straw Bale Workshop # 88

Geelong, Victoria.

Saturday December 9th.-Wednesday 13th.

This workshop will be held in Napoleans (near Geelong) in Victoria and will be a custom workshop to build a jumbo bale shed with loft and a barn style roof.

This will be the first JUMBO straw bale building workshop we have conducted and it is an area in straw bale building which we feel has a big future in houses, wineries and buildings that need to be cool; even basketball stadiums and the like.

So for those who want to learn a new technique this workshop is for you and will suit owner builders and professionals alike.

This photograph shows one of the methods we use to build using jumbo straw bales. We will be conducting a jumbo straw bale workshop to be held in Victoria form the 9th. December.

Denny and Lee attended one of our Ganmain intensive workshops and this is their beautiful new straw bale home that they have built as a result of learning the technology in Ganmain. Denny said that they did 95% of the building themselves and have never built anything in their lives before attempting their own home.

Marion East Hybrid Straw Bale Home in Meredith, Victoria.

Marion East used one of our custom workshops to help her build her cottage. We used a hybrid method that we will be teaching at workshop #87 at Beaufort, Victoria from October the 14th to the 18th.
